Order Analysis

Once the Validate button is pressed, the order is analysed (this may take a couple of minutes depending on the data to load) and this section becomes active. Here each risk rule included in your risk management strategy is represented as a red / yellow / green card. Each card contains more details as to the analysis performed.

Validated Order

Fields in this section are only filled if the order is deemed compliant to your risk management strategy (no red cards).

Size / Notional: the size of the order is expressed in number of shares (top field) and its notional amount (notional field)

Stop / Points Away: to facilitate entering orders on your trading platform, the stop is expressed both as a price and as a distance (number of points) from the entry level. A point represents the smallest possible price change on the left side of a decimal point, while a tick represents the smallest possible price change on the right side of a decimal point. Your trading platform may be using ticks so always check this before placing a trade.

Limit / Points Away: as above but for the order limit.

Clicking on the Level, Size, Stop and Limit fields will copy their respective values into the Input Order section. This is to help tweaking values for your order.
